The Fortes

Grant Sav is joined by Singer/Violinist Charley Blue and Singer/Guitarist Laura James to provide a captivating trio performing a mix of popular, acoustic folk & Jazz music. Having played for the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street, Grant is regarded as one of London’s best solo pianists, Charley is a graduate of the prestigious Paul McCartney LIPA and knockout finalist on BBC The Voice UK and Laura, who is long thought of as one of Cumbria’s finest musical talents, was awarded the MBF Songwriting Development prize in 2012. The trio were brought together by chance when each won awards in the 2005 ‘Stars of the Future’ Awards and have been playing since then in various bands and guises before finally forming The Fortes in 2014.
