Joy E - Piano Vocalist

A talented pianist, singer and composer based in London, with a passion for jazz, a love of groove and dance music, classical roots as a pianist and a soulful appreciation of her singer-songwriter inspiration of artists such as Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen. Joy Ellis is available as a solo piano vocalist or as part of a jazz band ensemble. Highlights recently have included playing at Ronnie Scott’s, The London Jazz Festival, The Cork Jazz Festival, The Barbican Pit Theatre, Pizza Express Dean Street, The 606 Club, The Camden Green Note, The Stables, The Wakker Club in the Netherlands and No Black Tie in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. When Joy Ellis isn’t performing she has been working on an original album entitled ‘Life On Land’ which is touring far and wide across the country from Torquay to Edinburgh. With standards from the Great American Songbook, soulfully performed, Joy Ellis with or without her jazz ensemble will provide the perfect soundtrack to your event.
